Background of Baskin-Robbins

Welcome to my blog about a business research on the ice cream franchise known as Baskin Robbins.
The birth of Baskin-Robbins were traced back to the year 1945 in Los Angeles, where our founders, Mr. Burt Baskin and Mr. Irv Robbins started their ice-cream store. With a humble beginning, the store attracted punlic interest and in just three year, they had grown to eight stores.

Now, in a time-span of 60 years, there are 2500 stores operating in U.S.A and 2500 stores outside U.S.A.

All ice-cream products selling in Malaysia' Baskin-Robbins stores are fully imported from United States. To ensure the consistency and taste of its products, each shipment of delicious Baskin-Robbins flavors is subjected to stringent quality control from the very first step to the time we serve our premium ice-cream to our customer.

We call that "Magical Moments" with Baskin-Robbins.

From the table above, the data is shown what types of consumers were at from 12.00 - 3.00 in the afternoon. There is total of 40 consumers at the lunch time.

From the table above, the data is shown what types of consumers were at from 7.00pm - 10.00pm.There is total of 56 consumers at the dinner time.


Analysis 
The pie charts below shows the analysis of data of customers from 12pm-3pm and 7pm-10pm.

The above pie chart shows that out of 96 customers,38.54% of people are male and 61.46% of people are female.







The above pie chart shows that out from 96 customers, there are 48.96% of customers are malay, 28.14% of the customers are chinese and 22.90% of the customers are indian.











There are 36.46% of customers are adult, 29.17% of customers are teenager and 34.38% of customers are children.























Conclusion
I am doing this Business Research about Baskin Robbins outlet at Festival Mall in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur. Based on my observation, I can find out that mostly malay would consume it and female consumers are more than male consumers. This is because mostly chinese girls would rather spend their money on having dessert to lighten up their mood. There are still having people who like to have dessert after having their meal. It feels nice.

Observation

Observations



This is view of Baskin Robbins in Festival mall. 



There are more Malay consumers.




There are more female and the worker is friendly and efficient.







What i have observed :
1. There has some tables for consumers to consume.
2. There should have more workers.
3. The environment is clean and tidy.
4. The lighting is nice and consumers can enjoy.
5. There are more Malay consumers.
6. They are mostly with their family members together.
7. Student is lesser because it is more costly.
8. The consumers come to buy mostly after lunch and dinner.
9. There are more female consumers.
10. The workers are friendly and efficient.
